Data Destruction we believe is our most important service. All equipment that we pickup is throughly checked for hard drives and other media. Hard Drives today can be found in Computers, Printers, Plotters, Copiers, Scanners, and Network equipment. We then perform the following.
Hard Drives - We perform a software purge/clear and verify via NIST-800-88 guidelines (this is the new guideline, as opposed to the older DOD 5220.22-M standard), and provide you with a Certificate of Compliance listing each drive. The drives can then be made available for reuse or they can be shredded. Any hard drive that does not complete or has errors during the purge/clear and verify is shredded.
All other media(paper,CDs,DVDs,diskettes,tapes,flash) that is found is shredded.
On-Site Hard Drive Data Erasure
We come to your office and perform a software purge/clear and verify via NIST-800-88 guidelines (this is the new guideline, as opposed to the older DOD 5220.22-M standard). A label is created for each drive with the date, time,
purge/clear, and verify information. We will also provide you with a Certificate of Compliance listing each drive. The drives will be available for reuse, or we can take them to be shredded.
